The Opportunity
We are looking for a Shipper for our Hannon location. This position will be reporting to the Shipping Supervisor. The key responsibility is to ensures accurate preparation, packaging, and coordination of outgoing shipments to meet delivery timelines. The hourly rate for this position is $27.14
What You’ll Do
Process orders to meet delivery schedule for requested pick up time.Provide substitutions or replacements where necessaryPack products on pallets to avoid any damageLabel and pack pallets according to customer requirementsProduct is loaded on truck according to delivery scheduleMake arrangements with carrier for any shipments required to ship outside carrierReport any product returns to Customer ServicePerform weekly cycle counts
-minimum 1x per weekReview packing slips on all supplier orders ensuring accuracy. Report damaged product or shortages to Customer Service immediately.Sign all packing slips detailing damages and/or shortages.Ensure product is put away in warehouse once received from supplierPerform product audits if/when necessaryWhat You Bring
Valid Counterbalance Propane LicenseMust be willing to work rotating shiftsPrevious experience in a warehouse environmentStrong communication skillsAble to lift at least 50 lbsAbility to work autonomously and with little directionAble to work both independently and as a member of a teamWorking knowledge of Microsoft officeDetail OrientedExhibit a sense of urgency and be able to demonstrate the ability to solve problems in a fast paced environmentWhat We Offer
