Pay Rate: $42.21-$45.16 per hour Plus Continental Shift premiums: $1.00/hr (days) & $1.50/hr (nights)

As our next Manufacturing Systems Technician – Electrician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, refurbishment, installation, and start-up of production and test equipment. This role provides hands-on electrical and controls expertise across automated manufacturing systems while supporting high-volume production, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. You'll reports to the Maintenance Supervisor.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Maintain, repair, refurbish, and support production equipment and facilities in accordance with IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.

Repair, assemble, debug, install, and start-up CNC, PLC, robotic, and automated assembly equipment from an electrical, controls, hydraulic, and pneumatic perspective.

Perform detailed electrical troubleshooting on industrial equipment including PLCs, CNC controllers, robotics, automation equipment, VFDs, sensors, motor controls, and safety circuits in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams to support new equipment installations, upgrades, and manufacturing projects.

Support planned maintenance activities and emergency breakdown response to minimize downtime and maintain operational efficiency.

Interpret and work from electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical manuals, and equipment documentation; assist in maintaining accurate electrical documentation for long-term equipment support.

Test electrical systems and components to ensure safety, efficiency, proper grounding, and code compliance.

Utilize safe electrical work practices and ensure compliance with applicable electrical codes, standards, and company procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and well-equipped maintenance environment, supporting housekeeping and project organization standards.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability, safety, and maintenance effectiveness.

Work collaboratively with other maintenance personnel to ensure effective communication, coordination, and shift hand-off.

Ensure all work complies with company Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Production Systems.

Perform other related duties as assigned

What We’re Looking For:

Qualifications Secondary School Graduation Diploma or equivalent.

Valid Certificate of Qualification as an Electrician (442A and/or 309A) in good standing.

Completion of a recognized Electrician Apprenticeship.

Experience1 to 5 years of post-qualification industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience supporting CNC-, PLC-, robotic-, or automated assembly equipment in a high-volume production setting.

Technical & Skill Requirements:

Strong hands-on electrical and controls troubleshooting skills in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Working knowledge of PLC systems, CNC equipment, motor controls, automation systems, and industrial electrical distribution.

Exposure to hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
Fanuc robot experience is considered an asset.

Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and diagnostic skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively within a team environment.
