A packaging manufacturer is looking for a driven, hands‑on leader with a strong lean foundation for a Continuous Improvement Manager position. This is a unique opportunity to take on and drive continuous improvement initiatives across Europe and North America.

Compensation

$130,000 – $140,000*

* The stated compensation range reflects the full scope of the role as currently structured and is provided in accordance with pay transparency requirements. Offers are determined based on relevant experience, demonstrated skills, internal equity, and alignment with the role’s requirements. Position

Description

As Continuous Improvement Manager, you will be at the center of transforming how our client operates—streamlining administrative processes across Manufacturing, Planning, Supply Chain, and Customer Service. In this high-impact role, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, relevant stakeholders, and IT partners to optimize workflows, eliminate waste, and embed a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

Your work will directly shape the future of our global operations. By embedding lean thinking into everyday administrative practices, you will help build smarter, more efficient administrative processes. You will join a collaborative team directly contributing to a culture focused on continuous improvement across regions.

  • Accelerate operational performance across Production Planning, Supply Chain, and Client Relations by diagnosing shop‑floor inefficiencies and embedding Lean tools.
  • Partner with plant managers and department heads to shorten lead times, reduce material waste, and standardize operations across North American facilities.
  • Lead targeted Kaizen events and value‑stream design sprints to maximize capacity and reduce cycle times.
  • Bridge manufacturing operations and technical teams to help launch digital tools, including MES or automation software, that simplify daily tasks.
  • Ensure plant‑level development initiatives align with broader corporate growth plans and strategic objectives.
  • Build, maintain, and oversee international standard work instructions and quality control benchmarks.
  • Track and analyze key performance metrics, including OEE and throughput, to assess workflow health and turn data trends into strategic improvements.
  • Support organizational adaptability by guiding manufacturing teams through cultural shifts and reinforcing new operational habits.
  • Monitor emerging industry innovations, automation tools, and modern quality management systems.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in continuous improvement or process optimization within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong, hands‑on Lean expertise with a track record of applying Lean principles to deliver measurable results within administrative processes.
  • Deep knowledge of Planning, Customer Service, and Logistics/Inventory, Solid understanding of ERP systems;
  • Proven experience leading Lean workshops (e.g., Kaizen, value stream mapping) and implementing structured CI frameworks in global settings.
  • Certification Lean certification (Green Belt or higher) is required.
  • Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
  • Proven experience working successfully in cross‑cultural, international teams.
  • Ability to travel internationally.
