Production Supervisor

To coordinate, supervise and schedule the activities of the production employee; establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other units.

• Coordinate, supervise and schedule the activities of production employees.
• Establish methods to meet work schedules and co-ordinate work activities with other units.
• Review production schedule for manpower and staffing requirements.
• Resolve work problems and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Prepare production reports in an accurate and timely manner.
• Perform / organize employee job training and team meetings to ensure efficient and safe task performance.
• Understand and follow all aspects of the Collective Agreement, and deal with grievances at the primary stage.
• Request and control materials and supplies.

• Minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar position in the food industry.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated problem solving and leadership.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
