The Buyer position is essential for ensuring that materials and supplies support production smoothly. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will engage with multiple departments including Production, Customer Service, and Accounting. Key Responsibilities:
• Purchase materials and services to support production
• Manage purchase orders for timely material delivery
• Negotiate pricing and delivery with suppliers
• Maintain supplier relationships and seek alternatives
• Monitor inventory levels to meet production needs
Requirements:
• Proven purchasing experience in manufacturing
• Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and material needs
