This role requires a qualified individual familiar with layout, forming, and assembly of light-gauge metal. You will work in our shop, fabricating custom panels and trims, while also supporting installation crews on-site when needed. Your attention to detail and strong skills with various metalworking tools are essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Layout, cut, and assemble architectural sheet metal products
• Operate brakes, shears, and other metal forming tools
• Read and interpret shop drawings and architectural details
• Fabricate to precise tolerances for fit and weather-tightness
• Assist with field measurements and installation tasks
Requirements:
• 308A Sheet Metal Worker Certificate or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years in architectural or HVAC sheet metal
• Ability to read shop drawings accurately
• Proficient in metal forming equipment
• Detail-oriented with a focus on finish quality
Excel in architectural metal fabrication as a Sheet Metal Mechanic at Clad-Tech in Hamilton.
