Position: Director of Manufacturing for Apparel Firm
Step into a pivotal leadership role as the Director of Manufacturing for our client, an established apparel firm. This mandatory onsite position runs from 7 AM to 4 PM with appealing half-day Fridays.
Our client seeks an ambitious individual ready to grow in a managerial capacity. You will lead production operations while ensuring high quality and efficient scheduling. This includes managing staffing levels, maintaining relationships with the union, and focusing on continuous cost improvements. Your strategies will be crucial to lowering production downtime while enhancing overall team cohesion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of production management

• Ensure adherence to high-quality company standards

• Administer effective production schedules

• Manage staffing for efficient production processes

• Develop strong relationships with the union and team
Requirements:

• Degree in Business Management or related area

• Background in a unionized manufacturing context

• Proven leadership and results-oriented approach

• Strategic thinking and a motivated mindset

• Computer skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with AS400
