Overview  The Processing Machine Operator will prepare and process post‑harvest products while maintaining safety, quality standards and regulatory compliance in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities   Ensure safe work conditions and practices within the greenhouse and support building, supporting adherence to company Safety, Health, and Environmental policies.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Good Production Practices (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Maintain the integrity of all assets and operating equipment to ensure ongoing safe, reliable operations.
Set up machines—calibration, cleaning, etc.—to start a production cycle.
Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed).
Test operation of machines periodically.
Check output to spot any machine‑related mistakes or flaws.
Maintain a safe and clean workspace.
Communicate any issues with management.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications   Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Processing Machine Operator or similar position.
Previous ACMPR experience is considered an asset.
Experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑speed environment, following standardized work and adhering to safety practices.
Working knowledge of diverse high‑speed machinery and measurement tools (caliper, micrometer).
Understanding of production procedures.
Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g., constant use of protective gear).
Teamwork and communication skills.
Accountability, proactive behavior, and strong attention to detail.
Working Conditions   May be required to work weekends and holidays from time to time.
Physically demanding role requiring ability to lift/move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and standing, crouching, bending for long periods.
Compensation & Benefits  Hourly rate: $21–$23.
