Join Aecon in Hamilton, ON, as a Lean Continuous Improvement Manager. Your expertise will drive Lean Design across impactful civil infrastructure projects, fostering collaborative delivery.
In this critical position, you’ll support design and construction teams by implementing Lean methodologies throughout the project life cycle. From preconstruction to execution, your role will be crucial in coaching teams and identifying opportunities for productivity enhancements, ensuring projects meet their objectives effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead integration of Lean methods in preconstruction
• Collaborate with design partners using Last Planner System
• Build and support cohesive project teams
• Mentor for Lean thinking and continuous improvement
• Measure and share productivity enhancements
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• At least 5 years’ experience with Last Planner System
• Proven track record in Lean Design application
• Experience with large-scale capital projects
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
