Position: Welding Engineer with Quality Focus

Reporting to the Director of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for managing the welding program, developing procedures, and providing training to our talented team. This position requires deep technical knowledge to solve welding issues and enhance productivity while complying with strict regulations. Your contributions will directly impact complex projects across North America.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee welding procedures in line with industry codes

• Develop tailored welding techniques for projects

• Conduct inspections and document findings accurately

• Liaise with NDT inspectors to ensure compliance

• Maintain quality management and audit welding procedures

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in Mechanical Engineering

• 2+ years experience after obtaining P. Eng designation

• CWB welding inspector certificate required

• Minimum 3 years fabricator experience

• Understanding of welding technologies and safety
