Evening Shift Transformer Repair Supervisor

Lead transformer repair operations in the evening shift at Hitachi Energy's Stoney Creek Service Center. Manage production, support technical teams, and enhance safety and quality in repairs.

This role focuses on supervising shop floor activities while ensuring efficient execution of transformer repairs. You will collaborate with engineering, planning, and project management to meet productivity targets and maintain high-quality standards. This position allows you to guide skilled trades teams, contributing significantly to vital energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise transformer repair work across shop employees

• Coordinate production activities with engineering and project management

• Optimize resources to meet delivery targets

• Train and manage hourly shop personnel

• Support safety and quality programs in the shop

Requirements:

• Work authorization to be employed by Hitachi Energy in Canada

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical diploma

• Minimum 5 years in transformer repair or similar

• Experience supervising in a unionized environment

• Strong problem-solving and planning skills
