Responsibilities
Follow safe working procedures
Operate various tools and machines in order to complete products to customer specifications
Follow production schedules
Complete work in an orderly and satisfactory manner
Ensure work areas are kept clean
Requirements
Good written and verbal communication skills
Positive attitude, strong work ethics, and dependability
Works well independently as well as effectively in a collaborative/team environment
Demonstrates an interest in learning
Experience in a manufacturing or fabricating environment (an asset)
Forklift license (an asset)
Qualification Considerations
Past foundry and/or machine shop experience (an asset)
Experience operating any of the following: manual drills, hand sanders, bandsaw, belt sander, various hand filing tools
Experience in casting aluminum and zinc products (an asset)
