As part of John Crane's skilled team in Stoney Creek, you will perform essential functions in operating CNC Milling and Turning machines. The role emphasizes interpreting complex engineering drawings, applying tolerances effectively, and maintaining high standards of quality on all produced components. Candidates need over five years of relevant machining experience to thrive in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and run CNC Mills and Turning Centers
• Execute machine setups with tooling and fixture alignment
• Follow comprehensive preventative maintenance procedures
• Assist in machine troubleshooting and repair
• Maintain a safe and orderly workspace at all times
Requirements:
• High School diploma with 2 years technical training
• Minimum of 5 years in CNC machining environments
• Strong blueprint reading and GD&T application skills
• Experience with CNC G-code programming
• Attention to detail in precision manufacturing
