Be part of Wind Borne's mission to deliver unparalleled weather intelligence through advanced balloon technology. In this Web Handling/Film Converting Expert position, your focus will be on scaling production processes and developing innovative solutions. You will work with leading engineers and management to enhance manufacturability and performance while ensuring efficient production methods for our unique balloon systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop systems for scaling balloon manufacturing
• Work with CTO for enhanced production performance
• Design and implement solutions for manufacturing challenges
• Train technicians on new tools and procedures
Requirements:
• Extensive experience in designing web handling systems
• Proficiency in Solid Works for CAD and modeling
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Experience with external suppliers and manufacturing partners
• Strong understanding of physics principles
