Manufacturing Process Engineer

Elevate production efficiency and quality as a Manufacturing Process Engineer with Gay Lea Foods in Hamilton. This onsite role focuses on optimizing processes and implementing improvements across teams.

As part of the Engineering and Continuous Improvement Department, you will collaborate cross-functionally with production, quality, maintenance, and design teams. Your responsibilities will include analyzing manufacturing processes, designing new workflows, and leading continuous improvement initiatives like Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement manufacturing process improvements

• Analyze production metrics for efficiency and cost reduction

• Develop documentation, SOPs, and work instructions

• Lead root cause analysis for manufacturing issues

• Train production staff on new equipment and processes

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in related engineering field

• 5-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in food and beverage

• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and automation

• Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools

• Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies
