Nord Space, a Canadian startup, is expanding its Additive Manufacturing team. We're looking for technicians of all experience levels to manage the entire build cycle of metal components, focusing on Laser Powder Bed Fusion systems. This role involves collaboration with engineers and responsibility for equipment maintenance, safety protocols, and process documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate LPBF systems through complete build cycles
• Develop and optimize procedures for various alloys
• Manage metal powder lifecycle and safety compliance
• Perform post-processing, inspection, and quality checks
• Ensure workspace cleanliness and equipment upkeep
Requirements:
• Diploma in Manufacturing or related fields
• 0-10+ years of experience with LPBF systems
• Knowledge of metal powder handling and safety
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and specifications
• Strong attention to detail and results-oriented mindset
Contribute to groundbreaking aerospace projects with hands-on experience in additive manufacturing at Nord Space in Ontario.
