Painter

Baytech Plastics, an injection moulding contract manufacturer located on the shores of Georgian Bay, is currently seeking a qualified, high energy, self motivated dedicated Spray Painters.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the efficient, effective and safe operation of the spray painting process and related tasks and responsibilities which contribute to the overall well being of the organization and its employees.

The incumbent is responsible to learn and conduct a number of technical task related to the spray painting process both manual and automated. These tasks include the proper use of paint guns and tanks, breaking down and cleaning the paint guns. This position requires an individual to change and replace filters on paint booths, and proper use of viscosity cups. In addition, the incumbent must learn to properly use the oven and control panel, the racking system and the mask wash.

• Previous experience in spray painting
• Qualties such as sound decision making, effective problem solving and team building techniques
• Willingness to work shifts, strong communication skills, eagerness to learn new skills and upgrade with new technology is a must
• Ability to lift moderate to heavy objects
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• OSSD or equivalent required
• French is not required

Various shift configurations:
Straight days(7am-3pm), Rotating days and afternoons(1 week), Rotating Midnights, days, afternoons(1 week), 12 hr shifts days and nights(Mon, Tues, Fri, Sat, Sun, Wed, Thurs)
