PositionSummary
The Assembler position is responsible for ensuring cabinets are constructed in an efficient, systematic fashion meeting client and Archmill Standards. They will produce quality cabinets to specifications as per blueprints and replicate past designs using hand tools and woodworking machines in a manufacturing environment. The Assembler will be responsible for knowing and practicing safe working methods and have a strong knowledge of shop practices, procedures, techniques, tools, equipment, quality control and safety equipment.
The Assembler will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy work area, conducting regular maintenance of tools and machinery, and assisting other team members.

Key Responsibilities- Assemble cabinet components.
- Construct and finish cabinetwork and assorted products from rough schematics and blueprints.
- Sand various materials including wood and countertops/solid surface.
- Ensure fittings and other components are of good quality.
- Attach fittings and other components to finished cabinetry.
- Run the doweling machine.
- Operate power tools, cabinet press, and other woodworking equipment.
- Use hand tools including chisels, files, tape measurer and impact driver/drills.
- Clean cabinetry/assembled materials.
- Ensure excellent fit, finish, and operability.
- Report a daily log of tasks on Seradex (ERP).
- Contribute and participate in the effective use of the Quality Control System.
- Understand and comply with all Policies and Procedures.
- Maintain a clean working area free from sawdust and debris between tasks and at the end of the day.
- Use of proper Personal Protective Equipment is required.
- Follow Health and Safety Standards and Procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Experience with woodworking/cabinetry/carpentry skills.
- Experience using basic hand tools and machinery.
- Ability to read project specifications, blueprints, floor plans, etc.
- Ability to work in a team environment with minimum supervision.
- A good eye for detail and quality.
- Collaborative in dealing with fellow employees.
- Required to work in a manufacturing environment which contains loud noises.

- Monday to Friday from 7:00am-3:45pm. - Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment.
