AVL is searching for a Director of Manufacturing Systems & Applications in Hamilton, Ontario. This full-time role emphasizes overseeing critical manufacturing applications, system improvements, and operational excellence.
As a Senior Leader, you will manage the delivery, support, and enhancement of ERP and manufacturing systems while collaborating closely with various teams, such as supply chain and finance. Your hands-on experience will drive technology initiatives from project start to finish, ensuring that manufacturing systems are well-integrated and aligned with operational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee support and administration of ERP systems
• Lead upgrades and migrations of manufacturing tech
• Identify automation opportunities with plant leadership
• Coordinate project teams for timely deliveries
• Provide technical solutions for operational challenges
Requirements:
• 5+ years in manufacturing enterprise applications
• Proven expertise in ERP implementations
• Strong grasp of production and supply chain
• Skills in data architecture and reporting
• Ability to mentor and lead technical teams
