Steel Fabrication Supervisor in Marine Environment

In the position of Steel Supervisor, you will oversee the assembly and installation of steel structures on ships, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining a safe work environment. This role demands a hands-on approach as you guide welding operations and support your team directly in the shipyard and dry docks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce safety compliance during welding and repair

• Lead structure fabrication and welding teams

• Manage and operate metal cutting equipment

• Conduct daily safety and inspection meetings

• Collaborate on project needs and workforce planning

Requirements:

• Valid CWB Certification mandatory

• 10+ years of experience in fabrication and repair

• Over 5 years in a supervisory role

• Preferred Certification as a Welder or Metal Fabricator

• Ability to work in variable weather conditions
