The Opportunity
We are looking for a Take Off for our Hannon location. This position will be reporting to the Corrugator Superintendent. The key responsibility is to safely operate and maintain the equipment/machinery to produce quality products as per the quality policy. The hourly rate for this position $28.45.
Please note that this position involves weekly rotating shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and midnights.
What You’ll Do
Work in a team environment and be a team playerFollow instructions from the OperatorUnder lines of progression is required to back-up feeder and fill in when on breaks or absentWill be required to set up and operate machine as per ordersAssist operator with problems and help to keep machine running to targetVerify specifications with production copyKeep ample supply of bottom sheets availableStack and pile units as per customer requirements as stated on documentationVisually and continually inspect for any non-conformances, document all information on the quality KQCC formUtilize the required equipment to perform all the required quality inspectionsTo take off the machine at or above the standards set by the companyAccurately complete time sheetsFollow all ISO and HACCP proceduresFollow equipment specific physical lock out tag out procedureReport all hazards / problems to your Operator and/or Supervisor when they occur.Report injury / incident to your supervisor immediatelyMaintain safe and clean working environment by complying with health and safety act, and Good housekeeping practices.Proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) – Gloves, sleeves, safety glasses, safety shoes, hearing protection, Hi- viz vest in Shipping/warehouseAbide by all plant rules, safety rules and regulations of the CompanyKeep fire equipment and exits clear all timeReport all problems to your Operator and/or Supervisor when they occurOther duties as assignedWhat You Bring
