Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, the Outreach Coordinator will develop and implement educational programs that promote waste diversion.
Your role will include engaging with community members at various events and ensuring that outreach strategies meet the city’s sustainability objectives. Collaboration with city staff and stakeholders will be key to your success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Educate residents about waste management through events
• Serve as a liaison for waste initiatives in the community
• Distribute flyers and information on waste programs
• Assist in the setup of educational outreach activities
• Track and report on outreach effectiveness and community response
Requirements:
• Background in Waste Management or similar field
• Strong presentation and public speaking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and more
• Effective multitasking and conflict resolution skills
• Valid Class “G” Driver’s License required
