Administer medications (IV, 1M and SC) in the patient's home or specialty clinics settingMonitor post-injection/infusion treatments as well as chart and report on all activities as directed by program protocolsProvide patient education based on program protocols, individually or in groupsRegular, predictable availability to meet appointment scheduling needs in an efficient and cost effective manner to provide patients with quick access to necessary therapiesCoordinate daily with patients, case managers, physicians, scheduling and other departments to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments, treatments, and communication of informationAdhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by the professional associations and the companyWork collaboratively within multidisciplinary health care team providing oversight and delegation of applicable tasks to RPN/LPN as authorized by provincial college of nursesPerform related duties and tasks as requiredWork collaboratively with the Business Area Manager and Training department to ensure nurses are identified when additional training is requiredProvide continuous support for all nurses within a specific regionAssist BAM with development and implementation of onboarding learning plan/preceptor schedulePrepare clinics for external and internal auditsIdentify educational gaps at the field level, and provide guidance/education to field nurses as necessaryBuild positive relationships within team to help facilitate more seamless change management as necessaryCo-host team huddles to share best practices and disseminate new organizational informationAssist BAM in planning team educational initiatives (i.e. Education Day)Validate in order to proceed with the administration of a productSupport nurses in a patient evaluation when applicableSupport with training portals (Master Control, Learning Portal and My HR) via emails, phone calls and any other virtual support toolsDemonstrate an active presence for new nurses (answering punctual and frequent questions)Support administrative training for new nurses on specific platforms and portals including but not limited to:
Outlook, Scheduler, T-Rex and or MyHRCreate general training tools (quick references) for new nursesAssistance with ACLS recertification for French speaking nurses since online training is only available in English (helping with questions translations without giving them the answers)Assistance with English communication between French speaking nurses and the Oakville staffProviding feed-back to manager about field nurse interactions and performance as needed.Assisting the BAM with the opening and setup of a new and or moving a clinicProvide back up for vacation or leave coverage where necessaryMaybe required to travel occasionally within the IBUQualified registered nurse (valid provincial license from the College of Nurses)Healthcare provider CPR certificate requiredMinimum 3-5 years' experience as a Registered NursePrevious experience in a leadership or training role within a clinical environmentExperience in a critical care, emergency, acute care inpatient/outpatient or homecare setting are considered assetsACLS, CVAA Certification, and central venous lines/port experience are considered assetsProficient in MS Excel, Outlook (e-mail), and MS WordExcellent customer service skills in dealing with nurses and our clientsStrong written and verbal communication skillsAble to work autonomously with little supervision as part of a larger remote teamAdvanced knowledge of pharmaceutical distribution industryWorking knowledge of automated warehouse operating systemStrong business and financial acumenStrong analytical and mathematical skillsAbility to communicate effectively both orally and in writingEffec…
