Position: Part Time Registered Nurse at Extendicare

As a Registered Nurse with Extendicare, you will follow established standards to deliver exceptional resident care. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing care plans, and supervising nursing staff. You'll also conduct performance evaluations and provide direction in the absence of management, ensuring that our patients receive the best possible support and care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enhance quality of nursing practice daily

• Assist with patient assessments and care plan development

• Manage nursing staff and conduct performance appraisals

• Supervise care delivery in absence of Director of Care

• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and policies

Requirements:

• Current certificate of competence from approved institutions

• Registered/eligible with provincial regulatory body

• Previous experience in community or long-term care

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Creative problem-solving abilities to handle diverse challenges
