Join Age Care as a registered nurse, providing exceptional care to residents while supervising a dedicated nursing team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring their health and well-being. In this skilled nursing position, you will collaborate with the Director of Care to implement policies and coordinate services for residents. You will also interact with physicians and health team members to monitor and document residents’ conditions meticulously.
Your leadership will direct Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers as they deliver care.
- Implement Age Care policies and guide nursing procedures
- Notify physicians of significant changes in resident status
- Coordinate nursing services for residents effectively
- Supervise Registered Practical Nurses and Personal Support Workers
- Administer medications and treatments as required
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Registered with provincial nursing registry
- Knowledge of relevant health care regulations
- Experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing
- Ability to maintain documentation and perform first aid
