As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in the General Internal Medicine Program, you will deliver nursing care to clients, promoting health and assessing treatment needs. This role involves working closely with Registered Nurses to ensure safe care for patients with varied health conditions. Your contribution will directly impact the well-being of clients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care for diverse client needs
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses for optimal care
• Assess health conditions and implement treatment plans
• Maintain effective communication with healthcare teams
• Support patients’ physical and emotional well-being
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Practical Nursing Diploma with IV administration knowledge
• BCLS/HCP certification required
• Minimum 1 year acute medical nursing experience preferred
• Proficient with MS Word and patient information systems
