St. Joseph's is seeking a passionate Registered Practical Nurse with current registration from the College of Nursing of Ontario. Ideal candidates will have two years of surgical nursing experience and familiarity with both medical terminology and surgical procedures. Strong communication skills and a commitment to customer service are vital for supporting patients and collaborating with your interdisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct accurate physical assessments for surgical patients
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of surgical procedures
• Input data effectively using HBO order entry and allergy entry
• Communicate proficiently with patients and team members
• Demonstrate effective problem-solving and organization skills
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nursing of Ontario
• Minimum two years in surgical nursing
• Strong knowledge of medical and surgical terminology
• Excellent computer skills
• Proven commitment to career development and education
