As a graduate from an accredited nursing program, you will play a crucial role in delivering person-centered care at our ten-bed palliative care facility. You will utilize your strong clinical assessment skills to manage pain and symptoms effectively.
Experience with individuals facing life-limiting illnesses is essential to ensure dignity in their final moments.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide compassionate end-of-life care to patients
• Collaborate within an inter-disciplinary healthcare team
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments using evidence-based practices
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families
• Adhere to health and safety regulations in all tasks
Requirements:
• Accredited nursing graduate registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS certification required
• Experience in palliative care or hospice settings
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to anti-racist and anti-oppressive practices
