Registered Nurse - Urgent Care Centre

Join the dedicated Urgent Care Centre team as a Registered Nurse eph’s Healthcare Hamilton. This part-time position offers flexible shifts and the chance to make a significant impact on patient care.

In this role, you will provide high-quality care to urgent care patients, including complex cases. Your responsibilities include collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, conducting patient assessments, and delivering both preventative and therapeutic care. The ideal candidate will ideally have experience in emergency settings or critical care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat patients with various urgent needs

• Collaborate with physicians and nursing professionals

• Apply crisis intervention techniques when necessary

• Educate patients and families on care plans

• Manage and document patient information effectively

Requirements:

• Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• At least 5 years of medical/surgical nursing experience

• Current BCLS/CPR certification required

• Excellent communication skills

• Preferred Emergency Nursing Certificate/Diploma or Critical Care Certification
