St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse for its Medical Surgical Critical Care Unit. You will deliver evidence-informed care to patients with complex needs while collaborating with an inter-professional team. This role requires a commitment to continuous education alongside adherence to the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide holistic, patient-centered nursing care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for effective treatment
• Assess patient needs and develop care plans
• Utilize critical nursing skills in high-acuity situations
• Educate patients and families on health management
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years of medical nursing experience
• BCLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Critical Care and Cardiology certificates preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage crisis situations
