Become a vital part of the Hamilton Urban Core Community Health Centre as a Residential Treatment Nurse (RPN). Offer essential nursing care in a supportive recovery environment.

This temporary part-time position allows you to contribute to the recovery of individuals facing complex health challenges. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessments, crisis intervention, and medication management, while promoting wellness and health education throughout treatment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing assessments and continuous health monitoring

• Aid in managing emergencies and overdose responses

• Administer medications according to best practices

• Collaborate in developing care plans for residents

• Facilitate wellness activities and treatment programming

Requirements:

• Diploma in Practical Nursing and valid RPN license

• At least three years of relevant nursing experience

• Skills in crisis management and de-escalation

• Strong ability to engage with diverse communities

• Commitment to cultural safety and anti-racism principles
