Join Bayshore Health Care as a Visiting Nurse in Hamilton. Provide essential in-home care, develop care plans, and enhance community health through compassionate service.
As a Visiting Nurse, you will bring your expertise to the Greater Hamilton and Burlington areas, focusing on individualized patient care. This full-time role allows you to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while managing your schedule to maximize care time. Your responsibilities will include medication administration, patient education, and thorough documentation using electronic health records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in on-call rotations to support patient needs
• Perform comprehensive in-home assessments
• Provide IV therapy, wound care, and palliative care
• Educate clients and families on health management
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions
Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with current provincial certification (CNO)
• 2-5 years of relevant nursing experience
• Experience in wound care and diabetes management preferred
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
• Commitment to traveling within Hamilton/Burlington areas
