RPN in Emergency Department at SJHH

Become a Registered Practical Nurse eph’s Healthcare Hamilton, providing critical support in the Emergency Department. Help enhance patient lives through effective nursing care and collaboration.

This full-time role necessitates flexibility across various shifts at the Charlton Campus. The RPN will support less complex clients while maintaining optimal health through collaboration with Registered Nurses. Strong backgrounds in clinical nursing and ongoing education are vital for success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote health through effective nursing interventions

• Collaborate with RNs for optimal patient outcomes

• Assess client needs and adjust care accordingly

• Maintain accurate patient documentation and recordkeeping

• Assist clients with lifts and mobility tasks

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Diploma in Practical Nursing with IV medication knowledge

• At least 2 years of related clinical experience preferred

• BCLS/HCP certification is essential

• Expertise in senior care and high communication skills
