Job Title: Registered Nurse (Trach/Vent)
Location: Hamilton, ON (Greater Hamilton & surrounding areas)
Schedule: Casual
Shift: Overnight Weekdays (10:00pm to 6:00am, 11:00pm to 7:00am) No On-call or rotations required. (We will work with your availability)
Hourly Rate of Pay: $41.50 to $49.50
Summary of PositionThe Registered Nurse (RN) in this role will provide compassionate, hands‑on care to clients in a homecare setting during overnight shifts. They support individuals with complex medical needs, including tracheostomy and ventilator care, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and well‑being. The RN works independently, monitors patient status, and delivers high‑quality care that supports both the client and their family, all within a flexible schedule without on‑call requirements.

- Provide pediatric nursing care in a home setting
- Administer enteral nutrition via pump or syringe (G‑tube, NJ‑tube)
- Deliver tracheostomy and ventilator care
- Support palliative care needs
- Perform wound care and ongoing assessments
- Manage chronic conditions and provide health education
- Assist clients with tracheostomy and/or ventilator support
- Support diabetes management (where applicable)

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent from an accredited program
- Current registration in good standing with the provincial nursing regulatory body (CNO)
- Current BLS certification (ACLS required for clinic roles)
- Strong patient assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Valid driver’s license is a necessity to travel to client’s home
