As a Registered Nurse in the ICU West, you will work in a leading 16-bed level 3 unit specializing in cardiovascular surgery.
Your role includes providing compassionate patient care while utilizing advanced techniques like Impella and managing various life-support interventions. Joining a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you’ll focus on patient and family engagement in care decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate comprehensive nursing care plans
• Implement nursing practices per established guidelines
• Operate advanced life-support devices effectively
• Collaborate with the Critical Care Response Team
• Engage with patients and families for improved outcomes
Requirements:
• Valid registration with Ontario College of Nurses
• Recent experience in a critical care environment
• Valid BCLS certification
• Strong critical-thinking and conflict resolution skills
• Dedication to ongoing education in nursing
