This Nurse Practitioner role requires an independent contractor to support our healthcare team under the supervision of a Medical Director. Candidates must have a passion for geriatric care and excellent skills in clinical evaluation. The position promotes collaboration and program development to enhance patient outcomes in long-term care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Champion resident-focused nursing care and staff education
• Engage in quality assurance committees for improving care
• Utilize advanced skills for managing complex adult issues
• Work collaboratively within the healthcare system
• Autonomously conduct assessments and prescribe within scope
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Active Nurse Practitioner Registration in Ontario
• Preferred 2 years experience in clinical settings
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making abilities
• Must hold a valid Ontario Driver’s License
