Position: Registered Practical Nurse Role at Alexander Place
Join Jarlette Health Services as a Registered Practical Nurse at Alexander Place, Waterdown’s leading long-term care home. This part time role focuses on high-quality direct resident care and team collaboration.

In this permanent position, you will support the Registered Nurse by coordinating care and overseeing nursing staff. Responsibilities include timely documentation of care activities, facilitating new team member orientation, and maintaining quality improvement standards. Your leadership skills will help ensure exceptional care within a welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care according to established plans

• Coordinate and oversee designated nursing staff tasks

• Maintain accurate resident documentation and records

• Facilitate the orientation of new residents and staff members

• Apply quality improvement and risk management principles

Requirements:

• Valid Certificate of Registration with the College of Nurses, Ontario

• Experience in long-term care (gerontology) is an asset

• Strong communication and leadership skills essential

• Proficient with current nursing technology

• Interest in professional development and ongoing education
