Responsibilities Support community programs in providing wound care and related services.
Develop and implement wound care management programs in a hospital or community setting.
Provide visiting nursing services and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Qualifications Completed CNA-accredited Skin Wellness Associate Nurse course (SWAN) or International Interprofessional Wound Care Course (IIWCC).
Registered Practical Nurse who graduated from an accredited School of Nursing.
Registered as a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Two years of previous experience in the development of wound care management programs in a hospital or community setting.
Previous visiting nursing experience considered an asset.
Updated immunization records, clear criminal background check, and vulnerable sector check upon hire.
Current CPR certification required.
