Position: Nurse Practitioner at City

The Nurse Practitioner will take charge at Macassa Lodge, delivering personalized health care while working alongside families and an interdisciplinary team. Candidates must demonstrate advanced clinical skills in geriatrics and effective communication for optimal chronic disease management. This role ensures high standards of care for elderly residents, fostering a strong partnership with medical leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide resident-centered primary health care

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for health conditions

• Collaborate with medical and interdisciplinary teams

• Educate residents, families, and staff on health topics

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Baccalaureate in Nursing, RN registration required

• Experience in gerontological nursing is an asset

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work collaboratively in health settings

• Valid Class “G” Driver’s Licence required
