Position: Full-Time Nurse Practitioner

The City of Hamilton is seeking a mid-level Full-Time Nurse Practitioner, dedicated to delivering resident-centered care at Macassa Lodge. Your advanced clinical skills will support elderly residents experiencing both chronic and acute health conditions. Partner with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to enhance the overall well-being of residents through comprehensive assessments and effective treatment strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical care using advanced nursing skills

• Conduct complete assessments including functional and mental status

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care

• Monitor chronic conditions and maintain compliance standards

• Educate residents, families, and staff on health strategies
Requirements:

• Baccalaureate in Nursing and current RN Extended Class registration

• Experience in Gerontological Nursing is an asset

• Knowledge of chronic disease management in older adults

• Proven interpersonal and communication excellence

• Valid Class “G” Driver's Licence required
