The City of Hamilton is hiring a mid-level Nurse Practitioner for Macassa Lodge, offering a permanent, full-time position. In this role, you will provide essential care for residents facing various health challenges. Your responsibilities will include working with leading health professionals to create individualized care plans and fostering a supportive environment for elderly populations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver direct clinical care and education in geriatrics
• Perform comprehensive assessments per health regulations
• Collaborate with medical professionals for holistic care
• Monitor residents’ health and adjust care plans accordingly
• Engage in health promotion and education for families
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate in Nursing and RN Extended Class registration in good standing
• Additional geriatric certification beneficial
• Knowledgeable in palliative care and primary health care issues
• Strong organizational and analytical skills required
• Valid Class “G” Driver's Licence mandatory
