Join Age Care Willowgrove as a casual Registered Practical Nurse in Ancaster, Ontario. Provide professional nursing care and support to our residents in a compassionate environment.
As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will work closely with the Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional care, implementing policies that enhance the residents’ quality of life. You'll liaise with healthcare professionals and provide direction to Personal Support Workers to ensure the highest standard of care. Your expertise in geriatric nursing will play a crucial role in supporting our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement nursing policies alongside the Registered Nurse
• Liaise with physicians and healthcare team members
• Notify physicians of significant changes in resident status
• Offer support and direction to Personal Support Workers
• Participate in shift reports for consistent care
Requirements:
• Knowledge in geriatric or long-term care nursing
• Current Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses
• Familiarity with relevant health legislation
• Strong communication skills within a diverse team
• Commitment to residents’ well-being and dignity
