Clinical Nurse Manager at First Place

Take on a pivotal role as a Clinical Nurse Manager in Hamilton's First Place services. Lead nursing teams, establish clinical protocols, and ensure exceptional client care in a dynamic environment.

This full-time, temporary position spans six months, where you will provide both clinical and administrative leadership. You’ll support daily operational needs while overseeing RPNs and clinical coordinators, contributing to continuous improvement of care standards. Your leadership will directly impact the quality of service and client satisfaction across assisted living and transitional care units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily clinical operations and staff performance

• Coordinate clinical education and mentorship for nursing team

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans

• Monitor service delivery and enhance client satisfaction

• Facilitate effective communication with external stakeholders

Requirements:

• University degree in Nursing and active RN license

• 3-5 years’ experience as a Clinical Nurse Manager

• Familiarity with Retirement Home Care Act preferred

• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel

• Valid Ontario driver’s license
