Bayshore Casual Registered Practical Nurse

Become a Casual Registered Practical Nurse with Bayshore Health Care, focusing on overnight shifts in Hamilton. This role allows you to provide critical homecare to medically vulnerable youths and their families.

As a Shift Registered Practical Nurse, you will offer compassionate care that supports clients with complex needs during the night. Candidates should possess relevant experience in nursing with an emphasis on diabetes management and palliative care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide enteral nutrition and medication administration

• Manage tracheostomy care and ventilator support

• Deliver essential wound care and health education

• Support clients with diabetes and chronic conditions

• Engage in family-centered health discussions

Requirements:

• Registered with the provincial nursing body (CNO)

• 1-2 years relevant nursing experience required

• G2 or G driver’s license and reliable vehicle

• Flexibility to travel within Hamilton/Burlington

• Experience in pediatrics and palliative nursing preferred
