As a Registered Practical Nurse specializing in wound care, you will play a crucial role within the interdisciplinary healthcare team. Your expertise in wound management and patient assessment will ensure clients receive high-quality, compassionate care tailored to their needs. Key Responsibilities:
• Provide high-quality wound and ostomy care
• Collaborate with the healthcare team effectively
• Create personalized care plans with physicians
• Educate clients and families on care protocols
• Participate in bi-weekly nursing case rounds
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 1–3 years of clinical experience in wound care
• Certificate in Wound Care is mandatory
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with EMR systems preferred
