In this Regular, Full Time position, you will work within the General Internal Medicine Program, providing care under the guidance of Registered Nurses.
Your role will involve promoting health, assessing needs, and supporting patients through therapeutic and rehabilitative measures. Collaboration with the nursing team is essential to enhance patient outcomes and ensure safety.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care to clients promoting optimal health
• Assess and address client needs for treatment and care
• Collaborate closely with Registered Nurses in patient care
• Recognize changes in patient acuity and complexity
• Document patient information accurately in systems
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Practical Nursing Diploma or equivalent credentials
• Current BCLS/HCP certification required
• Minimum 1 year experience in acute medical nursing preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills needed
