Humber River Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Nursing Resources Team. This temporary full-time position offers rotating shifts and plays a key role in patient care across various units.
As a Registered Nurse, your responsibilities include all nursing duties for Medical and Surgical Inpatient Units at Hennick Humber Hospital. Candidates must hold a current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario, along with recent Medical or Surgical experience. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential for effective patient and team communication.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing care in Medical and Surgical Inpatient Units
• Handle rotating shifts, including days, evenings, and nights
• Maintain communication with patients and their families
• Conduct thorough physical assessments of patients
• Assist in patient/family education and support
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum 2 years of recent Medical/Surgical experience
• BCLS certification or demonstrated competency
• Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
