Position: Part-Time RPN Role at St. Joseph’s

In the Schizophrenia & Community Integration Service, you will play a vital role in providing specialized nursing care to patients with severe mental illnesses. As a pivotal member of the nursing team, you'll utilize best practices and foster growth in therapeutic relationships, aiming to minimize restraint use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized psychiatric nursing care

• Support treatment planning and implementation

• Maintain effective therapeutic communication

• Engage with multi-disciplinary teams for holistic care

• Ensure accurate documentation of all patient interactions

Requirements:

• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Successfully completed RPN educational program

• Current CPR and Asepsis Techniques certificates

• Preferred: 1+ year experience in psychiatric settings

• Understanding of mental health legislation and medications
