The Infection Prevention and Control Lead oversees comprehensive infection programs, ensuring adherence to PIDAC standards. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, conducting infection audits, and coordinating vaccination clinics. The role directly impacts resident safety and team health by implementing effective prevention strategies and training across departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze daily infection trends

• Co-chair the Infection Prevention and Control team

• Coordinate vaccination and infection clinics

• Supervise adherence to infection prevention standards

• Compile monthly infection reports and data

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse with current Ontario certification

• Minimum 2 years in infection control settings

• NAC ICP certification or equivalent

• Effective leadership and communication skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities
