Panacea Clinic, established to improve healthcare delivery in Ontario, is hiring for a PACU Registered Nurse role. Your focus will be on recovering patients from outpatient surgeries, ensuring safety and comfort. Candidates should possess BLS and ACLS certifications and have experience in PACU or critical care nursing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and care for patients post-surgery in PACU
• Support pre-surgery preparations for patients
• Discharge patients from the recovery process
• Assist in the Pre-Admission Clinic when needed
• Work with a multidisciplinary team for effective care
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BLS and ACLS certification upon hiring
• Recent experience in surgical day care nursing required
• Familiarity with administering IV drugs and ECG machines
• Exceptional critical thinking and decision-making abilities
